Did you know Warren Buffet eats the same thing everyday?
He believes by repeating the same breakfast each morning, he is able to save brain power and energy and put it towards his work. Even if it’s the simple question of ‘what should I eat for breakfast?’ it’s one less thing to think about.
Although I don’t agree with WHAT he’s eating, the billionaire, investing god has an excellent point. For some this energy or thought process of what to eat and when might be small, others (me) not so much.
A little time goes a long way
Since meal prepping and ensuring my meals for the next day are packed and ready to go, my work ethic has doubled, focus tripled, and energy is better then ever.
Just 30 mins or less each evening to prepare your meals ensures productivity for the next day is on point. Sounds like a great deal to me.
Spending this small amount of time (30 mins an evening or 1 hour 2x week) allows our creativity and work ethic to flow uninterrupted. Of course, it is important to take a break in the afternoon to sit and enjoy your food but by having your meals prepped, you can do exactly that. Simply enjoy it.
Everyone knows we make poor food choices when we’re hungry. Having a healthy prepped meal not only eliminates the guilty post-post mates hangry order, it ensures you never have to go to battle with your simple carb craving brain. Your slim, energized, future self thanks you.
