Morning Yoga & Stretching Routine

workout yoga

Some days you crave an intense workout that leaves you out of breath, covered in sweat and totally and utterly depleted. And some days you crave a slow, low intensity, relaxing flow that creates the slightest shimmer amongst your skin.

Having both types of these workouts in your regime creates balance, prevents injury, supports balancing hormones, boosting metabolism and immune system and increases flexibility and stamina.

Why you’ll love this workout

  • Doesn’t require a ton of energy, perfect for the days where you feel like taking it easy.
  • Helps ground you, lower cortisol and become more present and in tune with your body. All major factors that play a big role in reaching your weight loss goals. When you’re present and in tune, you will eat less and more considerately making wiser food choices.
  • This flow requires no equipment and can be done anywhere.
  • Helps build lean muscle while using low impact exercises.

-TIP-

Do your best to keep the activated muscle fully engaged throughout the entire move. You can do this by thinking about the muscle being used during the exercise being performed. For example, when performing the tricep push up, thinking about using your triceps throughout the entire move and not releasing that tension until the round is complete.
